Meet me: a citizen of the world passionate about travel

Hi! I’m Ioana. I was born and raised in Romania, I lived in NYC for about 14 years, and I just moved back to Romania. I loved traveling ever since I was little and was visiting my aunt who was living in Vienna at the time.

Then in high school I started to participate in international chemistry olympiads and I had the opportunity to visit Siberia, Turkmenistan, Istanbul, and Tokyo. After that I knew I needed to explore more new places.

As an adult I started to travel solo once I turned 30. I stopped waiting for people to come with me and I stepped outside my comfort zone. Because of this I had the opportunity to visit breathtaking places (I visited 20+ countries so far!) and meet the most amazing people. Some of them are now close friends.
