Stay22
What is Stay22?
Stay22 is a tech company based in Canada that uses AI-powered affiliate tools to help travel bloggers and travel creators earn passive income through affiliate commissions.
To generate affiliate earnings all you have to do is to include the hotel affiliate links in your blog posts after you install their simple script on your website.
This way when someone clicks on your deep links and makes a booking you will receive commission for that booking.
Stay22 partnered with multiple booking platforms in the travel industry such as Booking.com, VRBO, GetYourGuide, or Hotels.com. This is good news for you because you don’t have to be a direct affiliate with each traditional affiliate network. You can just use Stay22 and get access to all these travel affiliates.
The minimum threshold for payment is usually $100, but it might be different based on the country you’re based in. You can withdraw your payout once every 30 days and they pay you via direct deposit.
How much affiliate income did I make through Stay22?
I made my first affiliate booking the day after I installed the script. It was only $1.97, but for me it was huge. After not having any hotel income until then, I had my first booking the day after I switched to Stay22 from Travelpayouts.
I knew things would grow nicely from there. And that’s exactly how it was.
In June 2024, the first full month I was with Stay22 I made $191. Hello!!! This number already made my blog profitable. I was hooked.

In December 2024 I was already making over $500 per month from hotel affiliates.
In May 2025 I made over $2,200 and I had 184 total hotel bookings. That’s roughly an 11.5X or 1,150% increase in revenue compared to June 2024.

In less than a year I had much higher earnings just by switching to Stay22, no extra work. And ever since May 2025 my Stay22 affiliate revenue stayed in the 4 figure range.
I truly believe that Stay22 is the best platform in the travel industry and if it’s not part of your affiliate marketing strategy you are leaving passive income on the table.
How does Stay22 work?
Stay22 uses a combination of their AI tools such as their Let Me Allez (LMA) script, interactive maps, and traditional affiliate hotel links to earn you money. I personally mostly use the Allez affiliate links and I had these incredible results.
I have a 7.2% clicks to bookings rate at the moment and I get, on average, 6 bookings a day. The average commission per booking I get is around $10.

I love that they track the data in real time so you don’t have to wait 24 hours to see your bookings for the previous day.
Stay22 also makes sure you never have broken links for hotels you recommend, unlike traditional affiliate programs.
Does Stay22 have a customer support team?
Yes, Stay22 uses real humans for their customer service team, not AI or robots.
Every blogger that signs up with Stay22 has a Partner Success Associate. They are your dedicated person that makes sure you have everything you need to succeed.
They are also the point of contact for all the questions you might have or the issues you’re facing. I have a great relationship with my Partner Success Associate. She’s fantastic.
Her response time is very fast. Usually I get a reply in a few hours. And she always makes sure my questions are fully answered and my problems are solved.
I love how she always asks me for feedback. Stay22 is constantly trying to implement new ideas and new features to make sure we thrive as bloggers. And they make sure to use our feedback in what they develop next.
It truly feels like a two-way partnership.
Amazon Associates Program
What is the Amazon Associates Program?
Amazon Associates Program is an affiliate marketing network that allows you to make commissions when you recommend products that are sold on Amazon.
They don’t have a minimum monthly sessions threshold, but once you sign up for the program and get accepted you have to make at least 3 sales in the first 6 months to stay in the program.

It’s not such a high threshold, but it’s something to be aware of, especially if you have a new blog that doesn’t have that much traffic.
Another thing to know is that it’s mandatory to disclose in all posts with Amazon links that you are part of the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program.
They will give you the exact language you need to use as an affiliate disclaimer. Other programs like Stay22 are not as strict about the language you use, you just need to disclose that you are using affiliate links in your content.
The minimum threshold for payment is just $10, so much lower than Stay22. Their payment method is also direct deposit.
Since you can only advertise products sold on Amazon, it’s a good idea to sign up for this program if you plan on writing travel guides about what to pack, what to buy for a travel lover, or what luggage you use when you travel.
So basically in order to monetize your travel content with this program you need to talk about products, not just hotels and activities.
How much did you make from the Amazon Associates Program?
Before I give you the numbers, I just want to give you a bit more context about how I use the Amazon affiliate program. I have about 5 blog posts that are packing guides or gift guides where I can naturally recommend products I use.
For me, product-based posts are not the norm. Most of what I write are itineraries and hotel recommendations. This is a strategic choice because you get higher conversion rates for hotels and activities on Stay22.
And the average commission per booking is much higher for hotels compared to Amazon products since hotel stays are more expensive.
So for Stay22 my average booking commission is around $10, while for Amazon is $0.5. So my Amazon affiliate revenue is usually only $10-15 every few months.

In order to make a lot of money through the Amazon program you need a lot of traffic and a lot of orders. While with Stay22 when you recommend hotels and activities, you need much lower traffic to make the same amount of money.
Can you use both Amazon and Stay22 as affiliate platforms?
Yes, you can absolutely use both affiliate platforms as they are complementary. Stay22 is best for hotel and activity recommendations, while Amazon is best for product recommendations. I also use both programs.
Does Amazon Associates Program have a customer support team?
Yes, Amazon Associates Program has a customer support team. You can get in touch via chat or email. But the vibe is very different compared to the Stay22 support team.
Stay22 is a small company and you are able to create a relationship with you Partner Success Associate, so when you reach out to them they reply fast and it feels like you’re chatting with a friend.
While Amazon is a huge corporation, so everything is more transactional. It’s the same vibe as calling your bank’s customer support team.
Final thoughts
I think that these two affiliate programs are complementary and you should use both in your content.
Stayss’2 AI powered solutions convert incredibly well for hotel and activity links and you will be able to earn more with less traffic since the commission per booking is higher as hotel stays are expensive.
On the other hand, the Amazon program is a great choice if you plan on recommending products in your articles since so many people around the world use Amazon to order things. So you are able to appeal to a global audience.
But the main disadvantage of the Amazon program is that revenue per transaction is small since a typical product costs $20-50, while a hotel stay costs 10X more. So you need a lot more traffic and transaction volume to make a high income.
