If you’re looking for the best Copenhagen hotels with a pool, there are some fantastic options. Including glamorous rooftop pools overlooking the city or beautiful indoor swimming pools surrounded by tropical greenery.
A hotel pool can be particularly appealing in Copenhagen because you’ll probably spend most of your days walking around the city. After exploring Nyhavn Canal, visiting the palaces, or wandering through Tivoli Gardens, coming back to your hotel for a refreshing dip can make your trip feel much more luxurious.
I’ve narrowed this list down to five hotels, with different types of pool experiences depending on what you’re looking for. Some are in the heart of Copenhagen, while others offer a quieter retreat away from the busiest central streets. This post contains affiliate links. Nimb Hotel: Best for a Luxury Rooftop Pool
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ • 9.2/10 (134 reviews)
💲 Luxury • 👉 Check current prices here
If you’re looking for the ultimate luxury hotel in Copenhagen, Nimb Hotel is my top pick.
This five-star hotel is right beside Tivoli Gardens, making it one of the best places to stay if you want a central location and a genuinely special hotel experience.
And then there’s the pool.
The rooftop pool
Nimb’s heated outdoor rooftop pool is one of the hotel’s biggest draws.
The pool is located on Nimb Roof, surrounded by a beautiful rooftop terrace with views over Tivoli Gardens and Copenhagen. There’s also a pool bar, so you can spend an afternoon swimming, relaxing on the sun deck, and ordering drinks without needing to leave the hotel.
The pool is heated, making it possible to use even when Copenhagen’s weather isn’t exactly tropical.
It’s a very different experience from simply booking a hotel with a basic indoor swimming pool. Here, the pool is part of the overall luxury experience.
Why stay at Nimb?
The hotel itself is gorgeous, with elegant rooms, stylish suites, thoughtful design, and an intimate atmosphere despite being right in the heart of the city.
You’re also within walking distance of Copenhagen Central Station, City Hall Square, and many of the city’s best restaurants.
Nimb also has an impressive wellness area with a hammam, steam room, treatments, and fitness facilities.
Best for: A romantic getaway, special occasion, or anyone who wants Copenhagen’s most luxurious hotel pool experience.

These are the most important things to book in advance:
Manon Les Suites: Best for a Unique Pool
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ • 8.7/10 (1,931 reviews)
💲 Luxury • 👉 Check current prices here
If you’ve seen Copenhagen hotels on TikTok, there’s a good chance you’ve already seen Manon Les Suites.
The hotel’s Junglefish Pool is probably the most recognizable hotel pool in Copenhagen. And it looks even better in person.
The indoor pool
The huge heated indoor pool sits in the center of the hotel, surrounded by tropical plants, balconies, and colorful interiors.
It feels more like you’ve walked into a tropical resort than a hotel in central Copenhagen.
The pool is available to hotel guests, and there’s also a rooftop spa with a sauna and steam bath.
That’s one of the reasons I’d choose Manon Les Suites over a standard hotel with a pool. The entire property is built around creating an experience.
The hotel is also in central Copenhagen, within walking distance of attractions including Tivoli Gardens, the Copenhagen Lakes, and Torvehallerne.
What else makes it special?
Manon Les Suites is part of Guldsmeden Hotels, known for its Scandinavian-inspired design and sustainability focus.
Rooms have a distinctive bohemian aesthetic with four-poster beds, natural materials, and plenty of character.
The hotel also has a fitness center and restaurant, so you don’t necessarily have to leave the property when you want a slower day.
Best for: Design lovers, couples, and anyone who wants a hotel pool that feels completely different from a traditional luxury hotel.

Villa Copenhagen: Best for a Rooftop Pool in the Heart of the City
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ • 8.9/10 (1,358 reviews)
💲 Luxury • 👉 Check current prices here
Villa Copenhagen is another excellent choice if you want a luxury hotel with an outdoor swimming pool and a very central location.
The hotel is housed in a historic building directly beside København H, Copenhagen’s central train station, so it’s particularly convenient if you’re arriving by train.
You’re also only a short walk from Tivoli Gardens and City Hall.
The rooftop pool
Villa Copenhagen’s heated rooftop pool is located on the hotel’s fourth floor.
The pool is outdoors and heated, allowing guests to enjoy a swim even when Copenhagen’s temperatures aren’t particularly warm.
There’s also a rooftop terrace where you can relax after swimming.
The atmosphere is more sophisticated and understated than the tropical pool at Manon Les Suites, which makes it a great choice if you’re looking for something elegant and modern.
Why stay here?
The hotel combines historic architecture with contemporary Scandinavian design.
Rooms are stylish and comfortable, while the public areas have a polished, upscale feel.
And the location is excellent. You can walk to many central attractions, while the central station gives you easy access to public transport for anything that’s farther away.
Best for: Travelers who want a luxury hotel, rooftop pool, and unbeatable central location.

Scandic Spectrum: Best for a Luxury Wellness Stay
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ • 8.2/10 (8,943 reviews)
💲 Mid-range • 👉 Check current prices here
If your idea of a luxury hotel is less about glamorous rooms and more about having a fantastic pool and wellness area, Scandic Spectrum is worth considering.
This four-star hotel is in central Copenhagen, close to the waterfront and within walking distance of many major attractions.
The indoor swimming pool
The hotel’s wellness area includes a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam bath, relaxation areas, and experience showers.
It’s a great setup after a long day of sightseeing.
Rather than having a pool that’s simply there for hotel guests to use, the entire spa area is designed around wellness. You can also book treatments and massages if you want to turn your stay into more of a spa experience.
The pool is indoors, so it’s a particularly good option if you’re visiting Copenhagen during the colder months.
What else to know
Scandic Spectrum has modern Scandinavian-style rooms, a fitness center, and a restaurant.
The location is also convenient for exploring the city on foot, with the waterfront and attractions in central Copenhagen only a short walk away.
Best for: Travelers who prioritize a full wellness experience with a heated indoor pool, sauna, and steam room.

CPH Hotel: Best for a More Affordable Pool Stay
⭐️⭐️⭐️ • 8.1/10 (10,701 reviews)
💲 Budget • 👉 Check current prices here
If the other hotels are stretching your budget, CPH Hotel is a good option for getting access to a pool without paying five-star hotel prices.
It’s located in Vesterbro, relatively close to Copenhagen Central Station and within walking distance of Tivoli Gardens.
The pool
The hotel has an indoor swimming pool, along with a fitness center and other facilities for guests.
It’s not the glamorous rooftop pool experience you’ll get at Nimb or Villa Copenhagen, but that’s not really what you’re paying for here.
Instead, it’s a practical choice if you want somewhere comfortable to stay and would like the option of going for a swim during your trip.
The location is also convenient for exploring Vesterbro, one of Copenhagen’s liveliest neighborhoods, with restaurants, cafés, bars, and the Meatpacking District nearby.
Best for: Travelers who want a hotel with an indoor pool without paying luxury-hotel prices.
