I stayed at Rove Downtown and I loved it so much. It’s a 3-star hotel, but honestly, given everything you get it feels like you’re staying at a 4-star hotel at least.
Rove Downtown is located in the heart of Dubai, across from Dubai Mall. They offer 2 types of rooms: with views of the iconic Burj Khalifa or without.
Since the price difference between the two options was not that high I opted for a room with breathtaking views of Burj Khalifa. And I really mean they were breathtaking, just look at the picture I took from my room. Gorgeous!
Because of the hotel’s location in the heart of the city you will be very close to famous landmarks in Dubai, such as Dubai Mall, the Dubai Fountain, and Sky Views observatory.
The hotel also has a free shuttle bus that can take you to these places, as well as to Dubai Frame, Museum of the Future, Dubai Outlet Mall, Mall of the Emirates, and Dubai Hills Mall.
My hotel room had a king-size bed, air conditioning, free wifi, and all other modern amenities you would expect from a hotel.
Since I visited around my birthday they left me a jar of Lindt chocolates, a card, and a cute message written on the mirror in my room. It was a very sweet gesture.
The hotel also had an outdoor pool with Burj Khalifa views. When I tell you that this hotel does not feel like a 3-star hotel. It’s such a great option if you want the views, great amenities and impeccable service, but you don’t want to break the bank.
I highly recommend this hotel. I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Dubai.
