Hotels near La Fira de Santa Llúcia
The Santa Llúcia Fair is the oldest Christmas market in Barcelona and the most popular one. It is held every year in front of Barcelona Cathedral in the Gothic Quarter.
It features four main sections selling traditional Christmas figures, the iconic caganer or caga tió souvenir, wooden toys, and other handcrafted gifts.
They are all made by a curated selection of local artisans. It’s a great place for Christmas shopping! Especially if you want to buy a special gift for a friend or family member.
This market focuses more on crafts rather than food. But it’s the perfect place to experience the Catalan traditions and get into the Christmas spirit.
I think it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in Barcelona during the holiday season.

Hotel Catalonia Catedral
As the name suggests, Hotel Catalonia Catedral is located in a building that’s just 328 feet away from Barcelona Cathedral. So you’ll be in the heart of the Gothic Quarter if you choose to stay here.
It is a 4-star hotel that has a rooftop pool and bar, a lounge area with sun beds, and a restaurant with an outdoor terrace.
The reviews are amazing, so if you want to stay in the Gothic Quarter this hotel is a great choice.

Hotel 1898
Another great choice in this area is Hotel 1898. It’s a 4-star hotel located right on La Rambla in a restored 19th century building. It has a rooftop pool and terrace two coffee shops and a library.
It blends modern decor with old school charm. At the same time, it provides a quiet oasis to rest after exploring even though it’s on Las Ramblas.

Kimpton Vividora Barcelona
Kimpton Vividora is a 5-star luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Barcelona. Every aspect of this hotel is very well thought out. They even received awards for their design and decor.
They have a rooftop terrace with great views of the Barcelona Cathedral. There is also a rooftop bar where you can relax with a drink while you enjoy the views.
They also have multiple restaurants on-site, a gym, a spa, and yoga classes. They also organize visits to a winery near Barcelona. So you can see how that delicious Spanish wine gets made (and sample it). You can visit the winery in a sidecar, a 4×4, or a boat.
It’s definitely a fancy hotel that offers fancy experiences for its guests. If you want a bit of a more luxurious stay, Kimpton Vividora could be a great option.

Hotels near La Fira de Nadal de la Sagrada Familia
The Fira de Nadal has been held in the Sagrada Família plaza since 1962. It is a more classic Christmas market than the Santa Llucia one.
But it started as an extension of the Santa Llucia market when there was no more space in the Barcelona Cathedral Square.
Here you can find Christmas trees, nativity scenes, Christmas lights and decorations, food, and various hand-made gifts. It’s the ideal place to get into the festive spirit, especially since you are in the heart of Barcelona.
So you can easily visit other attractions nearby such as Gaudi’s houses on Passeig de Gràcia or the famous avenue of Las Ramblas.

Seventy Barcelona
Seventy Barcelona is a 4-star hotel located on a tree-lined street full of shopping options. It has spacious rooms and a breathtaking rooftop terrace and pool. They also have a restaurant on-site, room service, a cocktail bar with live music, and a spa.
It has a great location, great amenities, great reviews. In addition, it’s not as expensive as other hotels in Barcelona.

Hotel Condes de Barcelona
Hotel Condes de Barcelona is a charming 4-star hotel located on Passeig de Gracia, the avenue that is home to both Casa Battlo and Casa Mila.
The hotel is located in a 19th century building with wall-size windows. It also has a rooftop terrace and pool, a gym, and a sauna.
This hotel has incredible reviews and it’s a great choice to spend a few nights in Barcelona.

Hotels near Port Vell Christmas market
Out of all of Barcelona’s Christmas markets, this one is the newest. It has one of the tallest Christmas trees in Catalunya, a Ferris wheel, an ice-skating rink, and a floating nativity scene.
Despite the mild weather, this market does a great job of turn Barcelona into a winter wonderland.
Unlike the other markets in the city center, this one is usually open until January 6 instead of closing on or before Christmas day.

H10 Port Vell
H10 Port Vell is a superior 4-star hotel, a short distance away from the Barcelona harbor. The hotel is set in a historical building and has modern rooms.
There is a restaurant on site, called the Hollywood Restaurant. They also have a terrace with plunge pool and amazing views of Port Vell.

Eurostars Grand Marina
Eurostars Grand Marina is a 5-star hotel close to Port Vell. It is located in a seafront building. And it has plenty of rooms with an incredible view of the water. They also have an outdoor pool.
It is an exclusive and luxurious hotel. For example, it has an impressive spiral staircase designed by the creator of the Louvre Museum pyramid in Paris.
