1. Where we met personalized map

This is such a great way to remember how it all started. It’s the perfect romantic gift. You can customize it with your names, location and date of where you met or had your first date, and even coordinates of that location. Love that personal touch.

It’s printed on sustainable sourced quality paper and it’s made in the USA. You can choose from more than 100 themes and styles. I think it’s a great gift for your travel-loving partner.

2. Passport covers and luggage tags

You can twin with your passport covers and luggage tags. A passport cover is so useful for keeping your passport intact. If you travel a lot your passport can easily get damaged, and we don’t want that. This cover has is super cute and it comes with a luggage tag as well.

3. 3D wood world map

I’ve seen this map all over Instagram. It’s a large map, made of wood, that you can set up on a wall in your home. Even the set up can be a great couple activity as they say it takes 2-3 hours for the set up. It’s a fun way to spend an afternoon. You can pin all the places you have already visited and be inspired to travel more.

4. Compass necklace

This is one of the most romantic gift ideas on this list. Just write a note to accompany the necklace that says “You are my compass”. You’re welcome.

5. Noise-canceling headphones

I love noise canceling headphones. I prefer them over airpods even when I’m not traveling. I’ve been a Bose girl for years and I love their headphones. If you don’t want to hear crying babies and that background plane noise anymore, this is a great option.

6. AirPods

If you don’t like the large noise canceling headphones, then the smaller airpods are a great alternative. Be careful not to lose them on the plane though. On my last flight there was a girl who lost one of them somewhere in her seat. She called the flight attendant and they both searched for the missing airpod for a good 10 minutes, but they couldn’t find it.

7. Portable charger / power bank

If you and your partner are like me, you use your phone a lot to check Google Maps and take pictures and videos when you travel. My poor phone’s battery rarely lasts for a full day of exploring. So having a portable charger is a must.

8. Waterproof Insta 360 camera

This is a neat little instant camera for travel adventures. I love the fact that you can also use it underwater. Plus, it’s so tiny it can fit in any luggage.

9. DSLR camera

If you want to gift a fancier camera and can afford the extra cost this DSLR from Canon is a great option. I haven’t invested in a DSLR camera yet, but I might take the plunge soon.

10. Drone

I don’t own a drone yet. But if I buy one, it’s going to be a DJI. I heard great things about it. Unless your partner is a photographer / videographer or content creator, they don’t really need a drone. But I added it to the list in case you want to give them a fancy new gadget for your travels.

11. Compression socks

Compression socks might seem like a strange gift, but they are actually great for anybody going on a long-haul flight. They help your body move your blood from the feet to your heart. Plus, women who are long distance travelers are at a higher risk of deep vein thrombosis or blood clots. It one of the most useful travel gifts you could buy.

12. Neck pillow

Flying economy or low-cost airlines is great because you can see more of the world and not pay a lot. But this also comes with disadvantages. One of them is that your neck and shoulders will feel very stiff after a long flight. Having to sleep in odd positions does that to you. Investing in a travel pillow for you and your partner can help prevent this. A very thoughtful gift!

13. Phone stand for flights

Flying budget airlines is great because you can see more of the world without going bankrupt. But that also means that there is no in-flight entertainment. This phone stand can be easily attached to the seat or tray table in front of you, so you and your partner can watch all the movies until you get to your destination.

14. E reader

If your partner likes to read a good book while flying to pass the time, then you need to get them a Kindle. They can read their favorite books during each travel day.

15. Travel journal

A travel journal can help your partner write down all the amazing adventures you have together while traveling. It can be so cool to read it while you’re older. Or to have your kids read it so they can realize how cool their parents were. Ah, my heart!

16. Camp mug

If you’re an outdoorsy couple who likes to go hiking and camping, then a camp mug can be an ideal gift. It’s practical and you can pick your partner’s favorite color. Plus, one can never have enough (camp) mugs.

17. International snack box

This might be my favorite idea from this list of Valentine’s Day travel gifts. If you’re dating a foodie who loves to travel, this is the perfect gift. Trying snacks from different countries while not traveling is as close as it gets to being on a trip. This gift will score you major brownie points.

18. Travel backpack for her

Whenever I go on a short trip, I only take a travel backpack with me. I have this Osprey backpack in black and I love it. It’s a great travel companion: spacious, comfortable, durable. If your partner could use a new backpack, I highly recommend this one. It has plenty of space for a short trip.

19. Travel backpack for him

This is the same Osprey backpack, but for men. You can be backpack twins while traveling the world together. And these backpacks have great quality.

20. Mid-budget carry-on bag

I am team carry on. I only check in bags if my trip is longer than 2 weeks or if I’m moving. That’s it. I recently discovered Beis and I’m very happy with the quality of their suitcases and the price. It’s one of the more affordable brands out there, but they still make high quality luggage.

21. Fancy carry on

If you’re not shopping on a budget then you can consider a fancier carry on from Rimowa. It’s a hard shell suitcase with a sleek design. Plus, it’s made of high-end anodized aluminum, which makes it more durable. A good idea for the luxury lovers.

22. Affordable checked luggage

I recently got this checked luggage from American Tourister. I love their colorful designs; they are super cute. And they will be quite easy to recognize on the conveyor belt. The price is great too. A bit over $100 is a great deal for a large 28″ luggage.

23. Fancy checked luggage

If you are willing to pay over $1,000, then Rimowa’s checked luggage is a great choice. It’s the perfect mix of luxury, craftsmanship, and superior engineering.

24. Packing cubes

If I fly only with my backpack, I don’t use packing cubes. To be honest, even when I fly with a carry on I don’t really use them, but I can see why they are useful. If your partner likes things super tidy and organized, these can be a thoughtful Valentine’s Day gift.

25. Chipolo luggage tag

Whenever I have to check in baggage, and I have a layover I’m always afraid the airline will lose it. It happened to me a few times. But now I can track it with a Chipolo tag and at least I have the peace of mind that I know where my luggage is even though it gets lost. The best gift! It will allow your partner to have peace of mind every time they check in a bag.

26. Chocolate and coffee sampler

Chocolate and coffee are a match made in heaven. A box of the world’s best single origin coffees and chocolates will always be well received, assuming your partner is a coffee fan. If they don’t drink coffee, please let me know how they survive!

27. Tripod

For all the content creators out there, a tripod is a must to get those shots in new destinations. And even for people who don’t create content, but want to have beautiful pictures from their trips, this tripod is a great addition to your travel arsenal. I always get asked how I take my pictures since I mostly travel solo. Well, the tripod does it for me.

28. Travel jewelry box

For all my girlies who travel with jewelry, you need this jewelry box. Partners – take note! It’s a super compact box with lots of different compartments, so you can travel with jewelry to match all those bomb outfits. And it has an affordable price. If you’re reading this post to find inspiration for your male partner, but all of the sudden you want to get this for yourself, go ahead and do it, babe. Life is short, treat yourself!

29. Our Adventure Book scrapbook photo album

If your partner loves the retro style, this is for them. This adventure book can hold over 300 photos and it can also store stamps, plane tickets, and other small souvenirs you collect from your trips. Every page is made from thick craft paper, and they come in a variety of different retro page styles. The book also has a vintage copper lock.

30. Universal plug adaptor

Plug adaptors are a must have for every international traveler. I wish we had the same socket type all over the world, but alas, that’s not the case. This universal travel adaptor works in every country, so it’s very convenient. No need to buy a different adaptor type for different countries you travel to.
